Updated as of April 4, 2017! Old favorites and exciting new vendors make up Vendor Village this year! When you join the group, you’ll find festival updates for workshops, rituals, weather, even camping tips!
Vendor Village is a rich part of the Blue Ridge Beltane experience and tradition. Every year, a carefully selected group of vendors not only from Virginia but from up and down the East Coast recreates this unique marketplace, where you can find unusual, often one-of-a-kind magical items for your home, for ritual and magical workings, and for everyday life. It’s one of the highlights of this pagan festival here in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia.
Vendors are carefully chosen to give you a lot of variety. You never know what kinds of treasures you might stumble upon, including magical tools, altar pieces, statuary, clothing, costume pieces, belly dancing gear, books, art, lotions, soaps, herbs, and so many more surprises every year.
And don’t forget the services–we often have at least one or two vendors offering divination, massages, or energy work.
Our vendors represent a variety of pagan traditions, so there’s bound to be something for everyone at the festival.
Interested in vending? Please fill out our vendor application in order to be considered. But hurry! Spots are limited.
Blue Ridge Beltane 2017 Vendor Line-up
Midnight Thunder started out as a jewelry artist. In the years since, she has branched out to explore and develop her many other talents, creating vibrant paintings, meticulously sewn hand bags, dream catchers, and hand-beaded spider sun catchers. Her Beltane collection contains intricate and one-of-a-kind home art, including beaded natural deer antler candle holders and stone chip Tree of Life wall hangings. A favorite at Blue Ridge Beltane for over seven years!
Heather of Secret Roots provides handmade artisan items, bath and body products from essential oils, candles (dressed and undressed), herbs, jewelry, incense, perfumes, handmade runes, spirit boards, and pendulums. Personal items for your sacred needs.
House of Wood and Stone
Blending wood and stone into custom designs. House of Wood and Stone offers products that are handmade in the most traditional manners according to what writings are available on Norse, Celtic and neo-pagan paths. Most wood materials are storm-derived salvage and transformed into magikal tools and instruments for use in daily or ritual practice. Gems, minerals and stones are utilized to enhance these items in their purpose. Mineral and rock display specimens are either personally found or acquired through ethical U.S.-based suppliers. All stone jewelry is roughed, shaped and finished by the vendor himself, Adam.
Our favorite statuary vendor is vending with us again in 2017! Get ready to be dazzled by amazing Goddess statues and deity images from many cultures and histories for prices you’ve never seen before. Peter and his family bring amazing energy and lovely representations of the deities to the festival (and we loved their “chip-and-dent sale” one year). We’re thrilled to have them back again!
Handmade magickal soaps, jewelry, and talismans for your Beautiful Universe!
About the jewelry: “Gorgeous color schemes are the main feature of my art. I combine individual beads based on intricate color patterns. All my jewelry is handmade using a wrapped wire looping technique, ensuring strength and beauty. Many of the beads I use are salvaged from vintage jewelry or are stone chips from the local rock shop. I love taking apart old jewelry and creating new pieces. No two pieces of my jewelry are exactly the same. I use coated copper wire and findings. Caring for the Earth is my core ethic. There is so much jewelry in the world already, just waiting to be re-created!”
About the soap: “Soap making is like painting to me. Each batch is totally unique and based on what colors, scents, and herbs I am currently interested in. I make very small batches with lots of care, attention, and love. There are a few types of soap that have been so popular, I will make them again, but I always have an inventory of unique, seasonal soaps.”
